
Programmers Guild rebuts IEEE-USA's call for green card liberalization
SACRAMENTO - October 15, 2007 - IEEE-USA
teamed up with SIA, drafting a letter to Congress calling
for a substantial increase in green cards to foreign workers. Their
letter does not call for any reforms or reductions in H-1b, so this is
clearly a net loss for American tech workers.
