On Sunday there were
four computer programmer help wanted in the Sacramento Bee. Of these, 75% appear to be fake RIR job ads, representing an intent
to exclude U.S. workers. This is ongoing fraud upon the desperate displaced
workers in the Sacramento Region. (The only one that might be legit is for
McClatchy - only their HR department would know for sure.)
Editors of the Bee -
will you please respond to our concerns? This is the H-1B fraud upon U.S.
workers that you advocated in an Editorial last summer.
1) NTI (aka
Unify)
I've never hear of
"NTI" - have you? A web search reveals that Unify shares the
same address: 2101 Arena Blvd, Suite 100.
They have a few
similar jobs on their website. Both include the suspicious "3 years experience,"
which DOL uses as a presumption that no Americans would meet the qualification.
Only the Bee ad specifies "related foreign degree." The LCA data at www.programmersguild.org/RIR/ contains a possible
position that would warrant RIR fake ads:

certified serveral LCAs for H-1Bs for EA just in the past several months, and, as I reported two years ago,
many more in prior years. Just as two years ago the skills required by the
position on their website - and the location as Bay Area - do not coincide with
the ad they are running in the Bee. In other words EA CONSULTING is
committing fraud by placing hire requirements on U.S. workers than they do on
their H-1B workers.
